Kurd Collection

Kurds have always considered themselves to have no borders. Most are now located in Asia Minor, occupying areas in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Armenia. Their weave is Turkic and most common in Iran and Turkey. Their rugs are strikingly beautiful, like Kazakhs, and rival the best in the world. Their colors are magical as is their consummate knowledge of wool and strong thick weaves. The magical rugs of Old Persian Kurdistan include Bijars, Sennehs, Hamadans, Serabands, Kermanshahs, Jaff, Khurasans, regional Kurdish Tribes and villages, like Kolyai. Kurd weaves are usually different from each other.
